Booking Terms and Conditions
General
This agreement is made between Miss Parry and the guest (named as booking the holiday) on the booking form. Castle House shall be used solely for holiday purposes and the guest agrees to vacate the property on the last day of the confirmed booking. A binding contract is entered into on receipt of a signed booking form and payment of a deposit (third of holiday cost) or the full amount of holiday cost (if less than 3 weeks before the start of the holiday). A confirmation of booking will then be issued.
Payments
A non-refundable deposit of a 20% of the total holiday cost (min £50) is required, within 7 days of booking, if more than 3 weeks before the start of holiday. Full payment is required if less than 3 weeks prior to arrival.
Balance of Payment
The balance is payable 3 weeks prior to your arrival date. No reminders will be sent.
Payment should be by bank transfer (preferable and details are given on booking) or by cheque.
Please make cheques payable to Miss Gwenda Parry.
Cancellations
Please advise us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. Cancellations should be made by telephone and followed up by e-mail or letter. The contract requires the guest to pay for the accommodation in the event of a cancellation unless:
a) More than 3 weeks notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday, then only the loss of the deposit will occur. If we are able to rebook the week cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded minus £50 administration fee.
b) Less than 3 weeks notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday then we reserve the right to charge the full amount. If we are able to rebook the week cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded less the deposit.
In order to avoid charges due to cancellation, we advise you to take out insurance and details are available on request.
Guests' Responsibilities
All guests are expected to take reasonable care of the apartments and leave them in the same condition as found on arrival. Guests are responsible for any breakages, damage or extra cleaning, as well as the costs associated with these, which are caused by any of the guests staying in the apartments, and must be reported on departure. Miss Parry reserve the right to ask for monies to cover the cost of repair or replacement. All our properties are cleaned and checked between each letting.
Every care is taken to ensure Castle House is presented to guests at a high standard. Please notify us as soon as possible after arrival if there are any problems. If problems arise during your holiday, please notify Miss Parry immediately so these can be resolved effectively and efficiently. No complaints will be accepted once the holiday has finished.
Only those named on the booking form may stay in the apartments, unless prior arrangements have been made with Miss Parry.
Arrival and Departure
Castle House will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure. If you would like to arrive earlier please contact us.
For short breaks, times may be varied to suit.
We do ask that you contact us a few days in advance to give us your approximate arrival time.
Reasonable Access
